Ever since I could remember Lila has loved playing with princesses. She loves the different styles and stories that go along with each Disney Princess. I love that the stories shared a strong message that she was able to relate to and learn from. One of the first big presents we ever got Lila was the collection of Disney Princess Royal Shimmer Dolls. I was so excited for her to open it and it has been one of her most played with toys ever since. Each Disney Princess shines in an outfit that sparkles from top of the bodice to bottom of the skirt!
Disney Princess Royal Shimmer Dolls are available in an assortment of characters like ARIEL, RAPUNZEL, CINDERELLA, BELLE, AURORA, SNOW WHITE, TIANA, JASMINE, MULAN, POCAHONTAS, and MERIDA. Each Disney Princess has such an individual story and I love how that even though they are all different you can relate to each of them. I love that my daughter is able to see what she has in common with these Disney Princess characters from all over the world.
Lila’s favorite Disney Princess has always been Ariel. Maybe it’s the hair! Ariel has such a great story- The Little Mermaid is about the importance of growing up. Children got to be free to lead their own lives. So many stories show the importance of childhood, while Ariel values her independence.
When I asked Lila what makes her special she says that she loves her family and she is creative. She says that this reminds her of Rapunzel. Rapunzel was always painting the most beautiful pictures. Rapunzel also listened to her “mother” no matter what. I love that Lila can see that she has this in common with Rapunzel even though they look different.
